A deep thread reduced shank wood screw that features a truss head and a type 17 chip cavity (also called an Auger Point)at its tip. The deeper threads allow for higher pullout resistance, the Type 17 point allows for easier chip evacuation, which is especially useful in denser woods where more material needs to be displaced, and the truss head provides a larger bearing surface than pan head or countersunk screws, which allows it to pull objects together with superior force.
