3/8”-16 Sammys Swivel Head Threaded Rod Anchor for Steel
The Sammys Swivel Head threaded rod anchor provides a fast, secure attachment point for suspending 3/8”-16 threaded rod from steel structures, particularly in sloped or angled steel applications.
Unlike a fixed vertical rod hanger, the swivel-head design allows the threaded rod connection to articulate, helping maintain proper rod alignment and reduce distortion when attaching to pitched or angled structural steel.
Sammys steel anchors use a TEKS-style self-drilling fastener system designed for installation into steel without pre-drilling in appropriate applications. The manufacturer’s steel swivel line is intended for steel ranging from 20 gauge through 1/2” thick.
Common applications include fire sprinkler piping, plumbing and pipe supports, electrical conduit, lighting systems, cable tray, HVAC ductwork and general threaded-rod suspension systems.
