A deep thread reduced shank wood screw with a square drive that features a type 17 chip cavity at the tip of the screw. The deeper threads allow for higher pullout resistance, the chip cavity, also called an auger point or Type 17 Point, allows for quicker starting, especially in denser woods, and the square drive allows for better cam out resistance than Phillips drives. Sold here in 18-8 Stainless Steel for a high degree of corrosion resistance.
